Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Perform initial assessments and collaboratively create treatment strategies with clients for medication, therapy, or a combination of both.

• Actively follow up with clients at least monthly to evaluate the effectiveness of suggested interventions and provide ongoing support until treatment objectives are accomplished.

• Deliver various forms of talk therapy in conjunction with medication management as necessary.

• Conduct tele-psychiatric consultations for clients located in Washington.

• Establish a schedule within operational hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).

• Valid Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License in Washington, D.C.

• ANCC Board Certification.

• DEA Certification for Washington, D.C.

• Over 2 years of experience in adult mental health.

• Strong skills in assessment.

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills.

• Driven with a client-focused work ethic.

• Must possess a personal computer and a quiet, professional environment for tele-psychiatry sessions.

• Must be proficient in providing various forms of talk therapy.

• Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week.
