Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Women's Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive holistic psychiatric services to perinatal, perimenopausal, and menopausal patients through a fully remote telehealth approach.

• Collaborate effectively with the client’s Seven Starling therapist.

• Perform 60-minute intake sessions and 20–30-minute follow-up appointments, utilizing clinical judgment to decide on the appropriate length for each session.

• Commit to an average of 5–10 hours per week in a 1099 contract position.

• Adapt to and develop alongside an early-stage startup, contributing to the evolution of workflows and best practices.

• Provide patient-facing appointment hours averaging 5–10+ hours per week.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active Board Certified MD (Maryland) PMHNP license in good standing.

• Preference will be given to candidates who have at least three additional state licenses in open or upcoming markets.

• RN Compact licensure is preferred.

• No DEA registration is required.

• A minimum of one year of experience as a PMHNP working with the perinatal population is required.

• At least six months of telehealth experience is necessary.

• Some familiarity with perimenopause patients is advantageous.

• A solid understanding of mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and psychiatric care considerations during perinatal and perimenopausal/menopausal periods is essential.

• Grounded in evidence-based practices for treatment plans and clinical care.

• Must demonstrate comfort and proficiency with virtual platforms, electronic health records, and Google Suite.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

• Must exhibit adaptability and motivation to grow within an early-stage startup environment.
