Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Perform telehealth psychiatric assessments and follow-up consultations for elderly patients.

• Identify and manage psychiatric disorders frequently seen in the senior population.

• Administer medication management within the established scope of practice.

• Deliver relationship-centered care that emphasizes therapeutic alliances and positive outcomes.

• Complete clinical documentation on the platform using designated intake templates and code frameworks.

• Collaborate with teams including lifestyle/longevity Nurse Practitioners, nutritionists, therapists, and primary care coordinators.

• Address medication or adherence issues by communicating with patients’ primary care providers.

• Influence the development of protocols, intake procedures, outcome measures, and the online experience for senior psychiatric patients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) OR a psychiatrist (MD/DO) in good standing.

• Hold an active, unencumbered Florida license, or be willing to obtain one.

• Possess an active DEA registration; Florida DEA is necessary to prescribe to patients in Florida.

• PMHNPs should have a collaborating physician in place or be prepared to establish one.

• Experience in providing care to older adults is required.

• Must be comfortable utilizing two-way live video telehealth for practice.

• Should be mission-driven and able to work collaboratively.
