Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct initial visits through telehealth, encompassing psychiatric diagnostic evaluations (CPT 90791) or E/M visits.

• Establish a diagnosis, determine medical necessity, and create a care plan that supports PIN-PS navigation services.

• Document each visit in the EHR within 48 hours, adhering to clean, billable standards.

• Obtain and document patient consent for navigation services where necessary.

• Act as the billing practitioner of record for enrolled patients.

• Provide general supervision of certified peer support specialists delivering navigation services in conjunction with the practitioner's services.

• Conduct clinically appropriate follow-up visits that are mutually agreed upon.

• Collaborate with quality assurance, audit, and payer compliance activities.

• Remain available as a supervising clinician while peer specialists continue to provide ongoing navigation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active, unrestricted APRN/NP licensure in one or more of the following states: Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or New York.

• National board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

• Any necessary physician collaboration, supervision, or protocol arrangement required by the relevant state.

• Active NPI.

• Eligibility to enroll with and reassign benefits to the organization's professional entities for Medicare and Medicaid.

• Must have never been excluded from any federal or state healthcare program.

• Comfort with providing telehealth care for adults experiencing serious behavioral health conditions.

• Value peer support as an integral part of the care team.

• Subject to credentialing, exclusion screening, and payer enrollment.
