This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Conduct psychiatric assessments, manage medications, and provide ongoing care to the Medicaid population.
• Concentrate on clinical care while the organization manages billing, insurance, and credentialing processes.
• Establish personal work hours, availability, referral preferences, and caseload.
• Develop a varied caseload through the company’s referral network.
• Collaborate with an independently licensed physician as required by Massachusetts practice-agreement regulations.
• Engage in optional peer consultations with independent clinicians.
• Provide confidential virtual clinical sessions.
• Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in good standing in Massachusetts.
• National board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Prescriptive authority.
• Active DEA registration.
• Massachusetts controlled substance registration.
• Experience in conducting psychiatric evaluations and prescribing psychotropic medications.
• Personal malpractice coverage ($1M per occurrence / $3M aggregate).
• Familiarity with EHR systems and other digital tools.
• A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office.
• Personal computer and reliable internet for confidential virtual sessions.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Strong clinical judgment in managing psychiatric conditions across diverse populations.
• Patient-centered approach to medication management and treatment planning.
• Experience working collaboratively with therapists and other providers as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
• Dedication to ensuring equity in mental health access for Medicaid populations.
• Complete flexibility: set your own hours and availability, choose which referrals to accept, and create a manageable caseload.
• Administrative assistance for insurance, billing, and credentialing tasks.
