Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver psychiatric care via telehealth to patients situated in California.

• Conduct evaluations lasting 60 minutes and follow-up sessions of 30 minutes.

• Arrange 60-minute follow-up appointments for patients requiring additional consultation time.

• Establish a full-time schedule within the practice's operational week spanning seven days.

• Engage in one-hour weekly PMHNP team meetings for case discussions, peer support, and collaborative efforts.

• Participate in one to two hours of weekly continuing education with physicians, psychiatrists, or guest speakers.

• Primarily provide care to adults aged 18 and above.

• Develop a caseload focused on preferred patients, conditions, and areas of practice.

• Review California prescription-monitoring information prepared by virtual assistants.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold an active California PMHNP license in good standing.

• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is required.

• Active DEA registration authorizing practice in California is necessary.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure outpatient psychiatric experience is required.

• New graduates are not eligible for this position.

• Availability for full-time work is essential.

• Willingness to work at least two Saturdays or Sundays each month is required.

• Capability to deliver care remotely in a private, professional, and secure environment.
