This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Evaluate and deliver care within an integrated framework that includes primary care, behavioral and mental health, as well as alternative care providers.
• Conduct medical evaluations of patients and assess their overall medical condition.
• Assess patients' mental health status through mental evaluations and physical examinations.
• Develop, implement, and oversee treatment plans for individuals with chronic or severe mental health conditions.
• Assess the clinical necessity for medications and prescribe them as part of the treatment plans.
• Serve as the clinical psychiatry authority, offering insights, consultations, and support to other healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with community private physicians to coordinate patient care as necessary.
• Refer patients to additional health professionals when further diagnosis and evaluation are needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR in line with clinic policies.
• Utilize telemedicine for patients located in Portland and Florence as required.
• Conduct initial patient consultations lasting 60 minutes, follow-up visits of 30 minutes, and urgent medication management sessions of 15 minutes.
• Active license in the State of Oregon.
• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program focused on the specialized field of Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• DEA certification active and unrestricted.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) required.
• $5000 Sign On Bonus, payable in the first pay period following 90 days of employment with OIH.
• This role is eligible for the Oregon Loan Repayment Program.

• Vacation PTO accrues based on hours worked, with a maximum annual accrual of 80 hours for FTE 1.0, accessible after 90 days of employment.
• Frontloaded PTO is allocated based on time worked, with a maximum annual eligibility of 80 hours for FTE 1.0, available for use after 90 days of employment.
• Protected Sick Time accrues at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, with a maximum usage of 40 hours per year, available immediately as time accrues from the first day of employment.
• A laptop computer will be provided for the position.
