Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assess and address mental health and emotional issues.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to clients.

• Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness when required.

• Keep comprehensive records of patient interactions and progress.

• Aid in formulating personalized treatment strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 12 months of post-licensure experience in a psychiatric clinical environment.

• Master's degree in Nursing, specializing in Psychiatric Nursing.

• Board Certification from ANCC or AANP.

• Valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, depending on clinic location.

• Active DEA registration in the state of prescribing, based on clinic location.

• Understanding of mental health and emotional disorders.

• Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR), including patient data management, clinical documentation, and accessing patient histories.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.

• Ability to swiftly adapt to new technologies and resolve common issues.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.

• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are advantageous, but not mandatory.
