PS Engineer IV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with corporate network architects, cloud architects, and project teams.

• Engage in architecture review board evaluations to establish project cloud infrastructure.

• Safeguard the cloud environment by implementing security protocols, monitoring for threats, and ensuring compliance.

• Supervise daily operations of the cloud environment, ensuring services are available, efficient, and cost-effective.

• Manage platform maturity, governance, and automation in accordance with organizational policies and standards.

• Propel the necessary technical changes for cloud adoption.

• Oversee technical solutions, business alignment, project management, and operations for adopted solutions.

• Maintain a secure, efficient, and scalable cloud environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Azure Cloud Engineering.

• Proficient in C#/.NET application development.

• Experience with REST API and microservices development.

• Familiarity with API security, authentication, and authorization (OAuth2/JWT).

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform and Azure Resource Manager.

• Proficient with HELM, ARM, Terraform, and ASO.

• Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance principles.

• Experience managing repositories using GitHub, including GitOps and Gitflow/Trunk Based branching models.

• Familiarity with virtual networks, subnets, load balancers, firewalls, DNS, and VPNs within a cloud environment.

• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity and access management, encryption, key vaults, and compliance.

• Preferred: understanding of Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Preferred: familiarity with Secure Development Lifecycles.

• Willingness to travel 30% of the time.
