This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate new patients seeking telemedicine-based care for opioid use disorder.
• Assess the suitability for enrollment in the treatment program.
• Oversee the continuity of OUD treatment from the initial induction phase through the entire care process.
• Offer assessment and treatment to a panel of up to 275 adults dealing with Opioid Use Disorder.
• Diagnose Opioid Use Disorder along with any co-occurring mental health issues.
• Initiate buprenorphine-naloxone treatment and manage both induction and stabilization with ongoing follow-up.
• Address co-occurring mental health conditions either directly, through referrals, or via care coordination.
• Utilize motivational interviewing and engagement strategies to enhance patient outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with care teams to coordinate additional services.
• Engage in clinical team meetings, case discussions, quality improvement initiatives, and practice enhancement activities.
• Contribute to the development and feedback on practice policies and procedures.
• Utilize local and regional referral resources effectively.
• Manage patient care utilizing a web-based EMR platform.
• Participate in regional on-call coverage responsibilities.
• Collaborate with program physicians and therapists, reporting to the regional medical director.
• Provide strategic insights for company-wide projects and initiatives.
• Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Possess a valid medical practice license and DEA license in your home state.
• Must be eligible and willing to secure licenses in multiple states.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Buprenorphine prescribing within a family medicine, internal medicine, addiction medicine, or psychiatric practice setting.
• Telehealth experience is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to establish effective provider-patient relationships.
• Comfortable with balancing risk and benefit considerations and problem-solving.
• Willingness to share in regional on-call responsibilities, including coverage for a portion of the 8 company-observed holidays.
• Experience in Motivational Interviewing is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States and physically reside within the country.
• No visa sponsorship will be available now or in the future.
