This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver assessment and treatment for a continuity panel of up to 275 adults suffering from Opioid Use Disorder, from the initiation of treatment through ongoing care.
• Diagnose Opioid Use Disorder along with any co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Initiate treatment safely using buprenorphine-naloxone and oversee early induction and stabilization with thorough follow-up.
• Employ motivational interviewing and engagement strategies to attain optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure coordination of additional services.
• Engage in clinical team meetings, practice enhancement activities, and case discussions.
• Gain familiarity with practice policies and procedures while contributing to policy feedback and development.
• Understand local and regional referral resources and effectively utilize them.
• Utilize a web-based EMR platform for managing patient care.
• Work remotely from any location within the applicant's state, subject to applicable regulations.
• Contribute strategic insights into company-wide projects and initiatives.
• Participate in regional on-call responsibilities, which includes coverage for a portion of company-recognized holidays.
• Report directly to the regional medical director.
• Qualification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• A valid medical practice license in the applicant's home state.
• DEA license applicable in the applicant's home state.
• Willingness and eligibility to obtain licenses in multiple states.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience prescribing buprenorphine in family medicine, internal medicine, addiction medicine, or psychiatric practice.
• Excellent communication abilities and skill in fostering effective provider-patient relationships.
• Comfort in balancing risk and benefit while solving problems.
• Capability to equally share regional on-call responsibilities, including coverage for a portion of the 8 company-observed holidays.
• Experience in telehealth is advantageous.
• Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
