Provider Operations Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Act as the main daily contact for a designated panel of providers.

• Establish clear expectations with providers concerning schedules, facility protocols, and RPG policies.

• Perform monthly check-ins with individual providers and quarterly team check-ins.

• Relay information on provider satisfaction, coverage risks, and facility trends to operations, recruiting, and program leadership.

• Oversee the complete onboarding process for providers, including credentialing, licensing, privileging, systems access, and travel logistics.

• Organize on-site orientation sessions in collaboration with hospital leadership and the local Chief Hospitalist.

• Ensure scheduling processes are maintained for uninterrupted provider coverage 24/7/365.

• Create and publish provider schedules, ensuring alignment with availability and facility requirements while addressing coverage gaps.

• Manage and advocate for the Provider Self-Scheduling Tool.

• Investigate provider concerns, resolve issues, and escalate matters as necessary.

• Document shift changes, cancellations, and adjustments to ensure accurate payroll processing.

• Monitor and report on incremental and premium pay drivers and trends.

• Keep provider contact information and program records up to date.

• Ensure compliance with operational, scheduling, and regulatory protocols.

• Collaborate with various departments to further operational objectives and support program expansion.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.

• Capability to manage moderately complex issues and challenges.
