
Provider Field Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Establish and nurture robust working relationships with healthcare providers and provider organizations within a designated California territory.
β’ Perform virtual and in-person provider visits to offer education, training, operational support, and guidance regarding Medi-Cal program requirements.
β’ Create and present provider training via workshops, seminars, webinars, individualized sessions, and other educational events conducted both virtually and in-person.
β’ Provide personalized billing support and investigate healthcare claims, payments, and provider-related concerns.
β’ Act as a liaison among healthcare providers, provider associations, internal Gainwell departments, and client representatives.
β’ Utilize established Medi-Cal policies, procedures, and program requirements to investigate and address provider inquiries and operational challenges.
β’ Recognize provider patterns, recurring issues, and opportunities for enhanced education or process improvements, communicating insights to leadership.
β’ Apply independent judgment within set guidelines, escalating complex or sensitive matters as needed.
β’ Travel across the assigned geographic region for provider visits, training, outreach activities, provider association events, and other business requirements.
β’ Represent Gainwell in a professional manner during provider meetings, training sessions, and outreach initiatives.
β’ A minimum of three years of experience in provider relations, outreach, education, healthcare operations, healthcare claims, Medicaid/Medi-Cal, healthcare consulting, business process outsourcing, or a similar healthcare role.
β’ Proven experience working directly with healthcare providers, provider offices, medical groups, healthcare organizations, or other relevant healthcare stakeholders.
β’ Demonstrated experience in delivering training, presentations, workshops, webinars, or educational sessions in both virtual and face-to-face settings.
β’ Experience in researching and resolving issues related to healthcare claims, billing, payment, provider enrollment, or other operational matters involving providers.
β’ Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, relationship management, and customer service abilities.
β’ Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
β’ Capability to independently manage a designated geographic territory.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel throughout an assigned California territory, including occasional overnight travel as business needs dictate.
β’ Candidates must reside in California.
