This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Establish and nurture strong professional relationships with healthcare providers and organizations across a designated territory in Central California.
β’ Conduct both virtual and in-person visits to healthcare providers to offer education, training, operational support, and assistance regarding Medi-Cal program requirements.
β’ Create and deliver training for providers through workshops, seminars, webinars, one-on-one sessions, and other educational events, both virtual and in-person.
β’ Provide personalized billing support and investigate healthcare claims, payment issues, and provider-related concerns.
β’ Act as a liaison connecting healthcare providers, provider associations, internal Gainwell departments, and client representatives.
β’ Utilize established Medi-Cal policies, procedures, and program requirements to investigate and resolve provider inquiries and operational challenges.
β’ Identify trends among providers, recurring challenges, and opportunities for further education or process enhancement, and communicate these insights to leadership.
β’ Exercise independent judgment within established guidelines while appropriately escalating complex or sensitive matters.
β’ Travel throughout the designated Central California territory for provider visits, training, outreach initiatives, provider association events, and other business needs.
β’ Work remotely when not engaged in provider visits, training sessions, meetings, or other field activities.
β’ A minimum of three years of experience in provider relations, outreach, education, healthcare operations, claims, Medicaid/Medi-Cal, healthcare consulting, business process outsourcing, or a related healthcare area.
β’ Experience collaborating directly with healthcare providers, provider offices, medical groups, healthcare organizations, or other stakeholders in the healthcare field.
β’ Proven experience in delivering training, presentations, workshops, webinars, or educational sessions in both virtual and face-to-face settings.
β’ Background in researching and resolving issues related to healthcare claims, billing, payments, provider enrollment, or other operational matters affecting providers.
β’ Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, relationship management, and customer service skills.
β’ Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills with the capability to independently manage a designated geographic territory.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned Central California territory, including occasional overnight travel as required by business needs.
β’ Experience with Medi-Cal or Medicaid is preferred.
β’ Candidates must reside in Central California.
