This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare providers and organizations within a designated territory in Northern California.
• Perform virtual and onsite visits to educate, train, and provide operational support, along with assistance regarding Medi-Cal program requirements.
• Create and present provider training through workshops, seminars, webinars, one-on-one sessions, and other educational events, both virtual and in-person.
• Offer personalized billing support and investigate healthcare claims, payments, and provider-related concerns.
• Act as a representative between healthcare providers, provider associations, internal Gainwell departments, and client representatives.
• Implement Medi-Cal policies, procedures, and program requirements to investigate and address provider inquiries and operational challenges.
• Recognize provider trends, recurring challenges, and opportunities for education or process enhancements, and relay findings to leadership.
• Utilize independent judgment within set guidelines and escalate complex or sensitive matters when necessary.
• Travel across the assigned Northern California territory for provider visits, training sessions, outreach activities, provider association events, and other business-related needs.
• Represent Gainwell in a professional manner during provider meetings, training sessions, and outreach initiatives.
• A minimum of three years' experience in provider relations, outreach, education, healthcare operations, claims, Medicaid/Medi-Cal, healthcare consulting, business process outsourcing, or a related healthcare field.
• Proven experience collaborating with healthcare providers, provider offices, medical groups, healthcare organizations, or other healthcare stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering training, presentations, workshops, webinars, or educational sessions in both virtual and in-person settings.
• Experience in researching and resolving issues related to healthcare claims, billing, payments, provider enrollment, or other operational matters involving providers.
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, relationship management, and customer service abilities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management capabilities, with the capacity to independently manage an assigned geographic area.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the designated Northern California territory, including occasional overnight travel as business needs dictate.
• Candidates must reside in Northern California.
