Provider Compensation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee provider compensation programs.

• Create equitable and competitive compensation frameworks that align with strategic goals, fair market value, and commercial reasonableness.

• Formulate and execute compensation plans that reflect market standards, organizational viability, and compliance with legal regulations.

• Provide guidance to leadership regarding strategic workforce planning.

• Work collaboratively with HR, Finance, Legal, compliance, and operational leaders.

• Lead communication and educational initiatives for providers and stakeholders.

• Manage compliance risks and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

• Assist in recruitment, retention, and performance improvement efforts.

• Collect and analyze relevant data.

• Conduct reviews of CPT coding.

• Create financial proformas.

• Generate comprehensive reports.

• Perform market analysis for providers.

• Model compensation plans for newly hired physicians, acquisitions, and contract renewals.

• Participate in implementation teams for new acquisitions integrated into the system.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in progressively advanced roles.

• Proven experience in compensation design.

• Background in finance.

• Experience in physician practice management.

• Strong skills in project and change management.

• Familiarity with Human Resources, Contracting, and Business Intelligence Software is preferred.

• Experience with data reporting and analytics tools is preferred.
