This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Execute independent tasks or serve as the primary contact for intricate projects.

• Function as a technical escalation resource for fellow consultants.

• Oversee capacity planning and make recommendations for hardware specifications.

• Direct technology implementation activities, including connector setup, custom rule creation, workflow development, and third-party system integration.

• Manage User Acceptance Testing and engineering efforts related to bug resolution.

• Design, execute, and provide education on technology build processes, code migration, and source control practices.

• Facilitate knowledge transfer and provide post-production support.

• Mentor junior consultants.

• Enhance professional and technical expertise through workshops, publications, networking, and participation in professional associations.

• Achieve and uphold top-tier vendor certification.

• Complete administrative project responsibilities, including time and expense tracking, status updates, and project completion reporting.

• Contribute to Optiv communities focused on solutions.

• Build and sustain effective relationships with delivery teams, practice management, client management, customers, vendor partners, and peers.

• Enhance operational efficiency for projects and internal initiatives.

• Review the work of other team members to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Collaborate with Practice Directors, Practice Managers, and Technical Managers on training, education, career growth, performance development, and team collaboration.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, or supporting Access Management and Federation solutions, or over 3 years of direct consulting experience in Access Management.

• Approximately 4-7 years of experience in technical architecture.

• Strong knowledge of concepts related to Authentication, Authorization, MFA, SSO, Federation, and Directory Services.

• Familiarity with formal architecture documentation processes such as UML.

• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.

• Ability to present information to varied audiences with appropriate detail.

• Capability to define strategic and tactical solutions and assess when each is applicable.

• Experience supporting sales processes, including proof of concept demonstrations and proposal development.

• Experience with Ping strategy guidance at a programmatic level.

• Proficiency in Ping deep dive analysis.

• Designed and executed at least 5-6 large-scale projects.

• Experience with Java and PowerShell scripting.

• Familiarity with API drivers.

• Experience in Python with API utilization.

• At least three years of software development and implementation experience with one or more Access Management and Federation products.

• Minimum of three years of experience in Okta Architecture and design using the Okta platform.

• Minimum of three years of expertise in advanced MFA solutions design, including Phone-as-token strategies, FIDO compliance, OAuth, OTP, and/or Mobile Push.

• Minimum of three years of comprehensive understanding of Okta Architecture, federation protocols, and SSO.

• Minimum of three years of experience in developing or integrating federated identity solutions utilizing SAML, OAuth, or OpenID.

• Minimum of three years of experience working with REST and SOAP web services technologies.

• Minimum of three years of experience with user directories and databases, including Active Directory, Oracle Directory, and Radiant Logic VDS.

• Okta certification is mandatory upon hire, or a commitment to obtain it within the first month of joining Optiv.

• CISSP certification is a plus.
