Proposal Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical lead and subject matter expert for Global Solutions.

• Execute services, solution architecture, and design engineering roles.

• Guide technical responses to customer Requests for Proposals.

• Define client vision and strategy while crafting advanced technology concepts that encompass networking, mobility, SDN, cloud, cybersecurity, and software applications and platforms for automation, analytics, and AI.

• Collaborate across various business units to create innovative solutions.

• Oversee end-to-end telecommunications and information technology architecture for comprehensive system solutions and services.

• Gather customer requirements and convert business needs into technical system solutions.

• Conduct architectural design, testing, implementation, documentation, and support activities.

• Create customer technology solutions utilizing engineering best practices and industry-standard products and technologies.

• Coordinate or lead transitions and transformations from existing network and telecommunications design solutions to new ones.

• Provide technical guidance and engineering expertise for planning, design, and implementation of network and telecommunications infrastructure.

• Develop work breakdown structures and effort levels for opportunity capture.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience as a technical lead or in a role related to solutions/enterprise architecture.

• 5 years of experience supporting Enterprise customers or Carrier Companies that serve Enterprise clients.

• Strong comprehension of the telecom and IT infrastructure sectors.

• Extensive technical expertise in managing and analyzing telemetry for cybersecurity solutions and/or IT/Software solutions related to performance, behavior, and user experience.

• Practical technical knowledge or experience in data transport services and technologies: IP, MPLS, Ethernet, OTN, DWDM, and SDWAN.

• Proficient understanding of both basic and advanced networking appliances and concepts.

• Familiarity with autonomous networking, SDN, NFV, Cloud, DevOps, SecDevOps, and Managed Security Services.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word, as well as Salesforce.com.

• Ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic and uncertain environments.

• High level of proficiency in technical writing, including proposal development.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong presentation capabilities and knowledge of basic principles of 'Solutions Selling.'

• Active SECRET Security clearance or higher is mandatory.
