Proposal Quality Editor – Medicaid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform structured quality assessments to ensure compliance, consistency, and adherence to RFP requirements.

• Verify that content is in line with Aetna's style, bid guidelines, templates, and brand voice.

• Review, edit, and conduct organized evaluations of Aetna Medicaid proposal submissions.

• Collaborate with proposal writers and quality team members to deliver clear, constructive edits and feedback.

• Utilize editing and collaboration tools to improve efficiency and uniformity.

• Assist in the development of internal processes and procedures, such as scorecards, quality business reports, style guides, and performance metrics.

• Adhere to proposal processes, timelines, and quality standards to ensure the timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.

• Establish a foundational understanding of Aetna Medicaid products, proposal architecture, and industry best practices.

• Engage in team meetings, training sessions, and coaching to enhance editing, compliance, and quality review capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in Medicaid proposals.

• 1-2 years of experience in proposal writing.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with AI technologies/tools, such as Asana, Domo, and proposal management software.

• Willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, during proposal review phases.

• Ability to travel up to 15-30% of the time.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Knowledge of Associated Press and internal style guidelines.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

• Over five years of experience in a quality reviewer/editor role is preferred.

• Understanding of APMP and Shipley best practices is recommended.

• Six Sigma certification is recommended.

• APMP Bid/Proposal Foundation Certification is recommended.
