Proposal Project Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development of proposals from the moment an RFP is received until the proposal is submitted.

• Conduct analysis, research, and write as well as edit responses to RFI/RFP questionnaires.

• Negotiate the requirements of RFP questionnaires with cross-functional subject matter experts.

• Develop proposal documents and exhibits that align with the sales strategy and highlight the strengths of company products and services.

• Facilitate cross-functional communications, manage timelines, follow up, oversee production, and handle shipping logistics.

• Produce proposal and sales documents adhering to corporate marketing standards, guidelines, templates, and styles.

• Address and resolve issues and conflicts with the appropriate escalation methods.

• Act as the Proposal Management Subject Matter Expert for matrix partners.

• Craft market- and client-industry-specific responses as necessary.

• Engage in process improvement initiatives and assist with ad hoc projects.

• Offer training, coaching, and mentoring to new team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Pre-Law, English, Journalism, Communication, or equivalent professional experience.

• A Master’s degree is strongly preferred.

• Experience in project management.

• Prior experience with proposals is essential.

• For occasional or permanent remote work, a cable broadband or fiber optic internet connection with a minimum of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload is required.

• Capability to manage multiple proposals with tight deadlines.

• Specialized knowledge in a primary business segment.

• Strong critical thinking abilities.
