This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Review RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitation documents to comprehend pricing requirements and compliance obligations.
• Create comprehensive cost models and pricing strategies that align with technical proposals.
• Work collaboratively with technical, program management, and subcontractor teams to collect pricing input.
• Conduct cost and price analyses to ensure competitiveness and compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other relevant guidelines.
• Prepare and verify data on direct labor, indirect rates, materials, subcontractor expenses, and other direct costs.
• Execute what-if analyses to model cost scenarios and pinpoint potential risks.
• Oversee the integration of pricing with technical and management proposal sections.
• Develop Basis of Estimates (BOEs), cost narratives, and price-to-win analyses.
• Address inquiries from customers and auditors regarding pricing information or clarifications.
• Identify and implement enhancements to pricing processes and best practices.
• Maintain and refresh pricing templates and databases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in federal proposal pricing or cost analysis, ideally within the government contracting sector.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced features such as pivot tables, macros, and financial modeling.
• Knowledge of federal contracting regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear and persuasive cost narratives.
• Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• A collaborative attitude with the capacity to work efficiently across teams and departments.
• Adaptable to a dynamic agency environment and diverse client service responsibilities.
