This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as the process representative and subject-matter authority for government property management within the SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative.

• Convert FAR, DFARS, customer contract, and internal policy requirements into business workflows, system controls, reporting functionalities, and functional specifications.

• Establish standardized procedures for the entire government property lifecycle, covering acquisition, receipt, identification, record creation, movement, storage, utilization, maintenance, physical inventory, subcontractor oversight, loss reporting, and disposition.

• Align government property requirements with procurement, receiving, warehousing, inventory management, production, maintenance, finance, asset accounting, project management, and contract-management functions.

• Relay project updates, regulatory considerations, key decisions, risks, and business implications to senior leadership, functional stakeholders, and business-unit representatives.

• Facilitate meetings with business-unit property organizations and functional stakeholders to document requirements, identify common processes, bridge gaps, and develop enterprise-level design strategies.

• Collaborate with functional, technical, and implementation teams to assess system capabilities, make fit-to-standard choices, and design compliant solutions.

• Create business scenarios and acceptance criteria while leading functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.

• Spearhead change-management initiatives and support the development of procedures, training materials, communications, and adoption strategies for property-management personnel and impacted functions.

• Report to the Plan to Sustain Logistics & Property leader.


⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory; only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information related to this program/contract.

• Generally requires a university degree or equivalent experience along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related discipline with at least 3 years of experience.

• Background in managing or supporting government property within a government-contractor, defense, aerospace, or similarly regulated setting.

• Familiarity with government property requirements, including applicable FAR and DFARS stipulations, contractual obligations, property-management controls, and audit expectations.

• Experience in supporting ERP implementation, system transformation, process standardization projects, or other large-scale business transformations.

• Proficiency with SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA, Cognitus, or other enterprise property or asset management systems.

• Competence in Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Outlook.

• Experience working within an existing RTX SAP environment is preferred.

• National Property Management Association certifications are preferred, such as Certified Professional Property Specialist, Certified Professional Property Administrator, or Certified Professional Property Manager.

• Ability to interpret complex regulatory and contractual requirements and translate them into practical business workflows and system functionalities is preferred.

• Experience in engaging with all organizational levels and maintaining relationships with senior-level internal and external customers, peers, and team members is preferred.

• Six Sigma / CORE Certification is preferred.

• Lean Certification is preferred.

• Some travel may be necessary, up to 50%.
