Property Field Adjuster – Farm & Ranch

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wyoming.

📋 Description

• Investigate and verify facts related to complex homeowner claims.

• Assess coverage and damages while adjusting and negotiating claims within authorized limits.

• Develop detailed damage estimates for intricate first-party homeowner claims.

• Oversee and manage moderate to complex residential property, farm, and ranch claims.

• Perform on-site inspections as well as virtual claims handling.

• Negotiate settlements and process settlement payments.

• Record all activities in complex claims files thoroughly.

• Understand and interpret regulatory compliance, fair claims practices, and company policy types.

• Foster relationships with both internal and external customers.

• Support leadership by providing formal and informal training.

• Suggest improvements to processes.

• Act as a peer mentor and guide junior employees.

• No supervisory responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a resident of Wyoming, ideally close to Laramie, Platte, Fremont, or Campbell counties.

• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

• Strong skills in estimating.

• Proficient in using Xactimate.

• Experience in managing agricultural, farm, and ranch claims is highly desirable.

• Relevant active licenses may include Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License.

• Must have a dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions when working remotely.

• Reliable internet connection with a minimum download speed of 50 MB and upload speed of 5 MB.

• Capability to handle challenging situations while providing an exceptional customer experience.
