Property Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead, develop, and oversee the Property Team.

• Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and ongoing improvement.

• Ensure effective collaboration among Property, Operations, Finance, and Commercial teams.

• Direct major capital projects, refurbishments, and property initiatives.

• Guarantee that projects are completed safely, within the scheduled timeframe, budget, and to the required quality standards.

• Supervise project performance, costs, risks, and program delivery across the venue portfolio.

• Promote accountability among consultants, contractors, and project teams.

• Develop and sustain a sustainable, efficient, and future-ready venue estate.

• Lead property workstreams for new venue developments, acquisitions, and strategic growth.

• Assist with feasibility studies, due diligence, and investment appraisals.

• Ensure new venues are completed on schedule, within budget, and operationally prepared.

• Create business cases and investment appraisals.

• Drive value for money in both capital and maintenance expenditures.

• Challenge supplier agreements and benchmark against the market.

• Implement competitive tendering and procurement processes.

• Establish a high-performing supplier network to achieve strong commercial outcomes.

• Report project status, budgets, programs, and risks to the Executive Leadership Team.

• Ensure that governance, controls, and approval processes are effectively implemented.

• Maintain oversight of statutory property compliance, health and safety, fire, environmental, and property-related risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive senior property leadership experience in a multi-site business environment.

• Proven success in delivering major capital projects and development programs.

• Strong commercial and financial insight.

• Experience in leading and developing teams.

• Proficient in procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiation.

• Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and Executive teams.

• Direct experience in a construction environment, both on-site and in a managerial role.

• Background in live entertainment, venues, hospitality, or leisure (desirable).

• Experience in delivering new venue developments or significant redevelopments (desirable).

• Relevant professional qualification in Property, Construction, Surveying, or Facilities Management (desirable).
