This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Visit customers' residences to perform on-site property assessments.
• Examine coverage and assess property damage.
• Create estimates and resolve claims efficiently and promptly.
• Manage virtual claims across the country.
• Utilize Xactimate, ClaimsX Video Collaboration, estimating tools, job aids, and settlement platforms.
• Specialize in water-loss claims.
• Deliver compassionate, clear, and empathetic customer service to policyholders.
• Independently assess claims and interpret policies to determine coverage.
• Interact with customers via phone, email, and video chat.
• Provide customers with communication options and keep them informed about claim status.
• Assess and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.
• Apply legal and business-standard methodologies and negotiation strategies in challenging scenarios.
• Employ critical thinking and various tools in a dynamic environment.
• Implement policies in accordance with policy agreements.
• Maintain clear, timely, and precise claim documentation in the claims system.
• Participate in approximately two weeks of training in Dallas, TX.
• Residency in the specified location, USA - VA, is essential.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as an outside adjuster is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Xactimate and other pertinent estimating software is required.
• Strong critical thinking and technical skills to accurately assess damages and expedite claim settlements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to travel to clients' homes and manage virtual claims nationwide.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Willingness and ability to carry a 50-pound ladder.
• Ability to access roofs with a pitch of up to 6/12 on one- to two-story buildings.
• A valid driver's license is necessary.
• Willingness to travel.
• Must undergo approximately two weeks of training in Dallas, TX.
• May be required to secure an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire, if applicable.
• Background investigation is mandatory.

• A dedicated private home workspace free from distractions, equipped with an appropriate desk and seating, is required.
• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is necessary.
• This position is not available to residents of California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
• A $1,000 Licensing Sign-on Bonus may be available for applicable active licenses.
