This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Deliver outstanding service to policyholders.
• Visit customers' residences to perform on-site inspections.
• Assess coverage and evaluate property damage.
• Prepare estimates and resolve claims efficiently and promptly.
• Manage virtual claims nationwide using tools like Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration.
• Specialize in water-loss claims.
• Independently investigate property claims and interpret policies to establish coverage.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and video chat.
• Provide customers with options for communication preferences and updates on claim progress.
• Assess and negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.
• Utilize estimating tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to resolve claims.
• Ensure timely and accurate claim documentation while keeping clear records in the claims system.
• A minimum of 2 years' previous experience as an outside adjuster is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience as an outside adjuster is highly valued.
• Proficiency in using Xactimate and other relevant estimating software is essential.
• Strong critical-thinking and technical abilities for accurately assessing damages and facilitating claim settlements.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to customers' homes and manage virtual claims across the country.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Residency within the specified location is mandatory.
• Capability and willingness to carry a 50-pound ladder and access roofs with a 6/12 pitch on one- to two-story buildings.
• A valid driver's license and readiness to travel are required.
• Must participate in approximately two weeks of training in Dallas, TX.
• May need to acquire an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire, if applicable.
• Submission to a background investigation is mandatory.
• A dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions with suitable desk and seating is required.
• Reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is necessary.
• This position is not available to residents of California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
