This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Deliver outstanding service to policyholders.
• Visit customers' residences to perform on-site property evaluations.
• Examine coverage and assess property damages.
• Create estimates and resolve claims swiftly and effectively.
• Manage virtual claims across the country.
• Utilize Xactimate, ClaimsX Video Collaboration, estimating tools, job aids, and settlement platforms.
• Specialize in water-loss claims.
• Analyze policies to determine applicable coverage.
• Engage with customers via phone, email, and video chat.
• Respect customers' communication preferences and provide updates on claim progress.
• Assess and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.
• Navigate challenging and intricate negotiations.
• Ensure timely and precise documentation of claims in the system.
• Participate in about two weeks of training in Dallas, Texas.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as an outside adjuster is highly preferred.
• Significant prior experience as an outside adjuster is highly desired.
• Proficient in using Xactimate and relevant estimating software.
• Strong critical thinking and technical skills for accurately evaluating damages and facilitating settlements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to travel to customers' homes and manage virtual claims nationwide.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Residency in the specified location is mandatory.
• Capability to carry a 50-pound ladder.
• Ability to access roofs with a 6/12 pitch on one- to two-story homes.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and readiness to travel.
• Willingness to attend around two weeks of training in Dallas, TX.
• Required adjuster and/or appraiser license, if applicable to the office/area, must be obtained within 60 days of hiring.
• Successful completion of an applicable licensing background check.
• Reliable internet connection with a minimum of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload speeds.
• Dedicated, private, distraction-free home workspace equipped with suitable desk and seating.
