This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Oversee sourcing and costing activities for new customer projects from project initiation to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

• Guarantee prompt and competitive quotations.

• Manage the entire sampling process.

• Coordinate project milestones and facilitate communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

• Assess supplier proposals through should-cost analysis.

• Provide sourcing recommendations that balance quality, cost, and delivery performance.

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with suppliers.

• Assist in long-term supplier development initiatives.

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned product categories.

• Promote continuous improvement and enhance supply chain resilience.

• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Product Management, and Quality teams on growth initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A technical degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent) accompanied by a robust commercial mindset.

• Demonstrable experience in project management, sourcing, procurement, or supplier management within an industrial setting.

• Strong analytical capabilities with experience in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis, should-cost calculations, and supplier evaluations.

• Good understanding of the manufacturing process steps involved in the production of static and/or dynamic sealing products, including O-rings and technical drawing components.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.

• Ability to effectively manage cross-functional projects.

• Fluent in English and Italian.

• Proficiency in German is an advantage.
