This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
β’ Develop and implement thorough procurement and sourcing strategies that align with project goals, budget constraints, quality expectations, and delivery timelines.
β’ Oversee procurement activities throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring preparedness, successful execution, risk management, and achievement of cost-saving objectives.
β’ Act as the main commercial representative between project teams, partners, and suppliers.
β’ Handle communications and relationships with external suppliers.
β’ Manage the complete RFx process, which includes identifying suppliers, preparing NDAs, evaluating bids, negotiating contracts, and making sourcing recommendations.
β’ Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, terms, and conditions.
β’ Track procurement performance by reporting on project status, budget versus actual costs, execution progress, supplier efficiency, and associated risks.
β’ Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulatory standards, approved supplier protocols, and contractual commitments.
β’ Manage escalations and claims effectively.
β’ Collaborate with teams to assess supplier capabilities, market conditions, capacity limitations, and sourcing opportunities.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
β’ At least 7 years of experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, and contract management within intricate project settings.
β’ Expertise in supply chain and project management.
β’ Proven experience leading large, cross-functional projects in global, matrixed organizations.
β’ Proficient in supplier relationship management, supplier strategies, and long-term stakeholder engagement.
β’ Familiarity with procurement processes, technical purchasing, contract negotiations, and purchase order management.
β’ Experience using ERP and sourcing platforms such as SAP, Ariba, e-Auction tools, Microsoft Project, or similar systems.
β’ Strong knowledge of the nuclear industry or other highly regulated sectors.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
