This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee technology projects that support the IRS's desktop, endpoint, and user-support environments.

• Manage the planning, coordination, deployment, and execution of IT initiatives.

• Ensure that projects adhere to timelines, budget constraints, and organizational objectives.

• Act as the main liaison between the government and contractor.

• Supervise contract performance, staffing, deliverables, and communication with stakeholders.

• Facilitate project meetings and monitor project risks, issues, and action items.

• Generate management reports, project-management documents, stakeholder briefings, agendas, and meeting notes.

• Maintain work breakdown structures and project timelines.

• Ensure a smooth transition throughout implementation, operation, transition-in, steady-state operations, transition planning, and transition-out processes.

• Keep alignment with the Tech Ops PPPM initiative.

⛳️ Requirements

• Authorization to work permanently in the United States without the need for sponsorship.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in managing enterprise IT infrastructure or endpoint-management projects.

• At least 3 years of experience supporting Microsoft enterprise technologies such as Intune, Windows 11, or Microsoft 365 in large-scale environments.

• Proven experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing project timelines, risks, deployments, and operational transitions.

• PMP, CAPM, ITIL Foundation, PMI-ACP, or an equivalent industry-recognized project-management certification.

• Must successfully complete a High-Risk Background Investigation.

• Must pass a 7-panel drug screening.
