
Project Manager – Specialty Care Program Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Specialty Care Program Office.
• Support one to two SCPO workstreams in collaboration with workstream sponsors, business leads, and Government leadership.
• Create and sustain project schedules, action trackers, and project management tools.
• Monitor milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and workstream performance.
• Coordinate activities across interconnected programs, projects, and initiatives.
• Generate executive-level status reports, dashboards, policies, SOPs, templates, presentations, memorandums, SharePoint sites, Teams channels, newsletters, annual reports, fact sheets/FAQs, communication plans, business plans, funding requests, and budgets.
• Facilitate working sessions, stakeholder meetings, and decision-making forums.
• Conduct functional assessments of current-state workflows, roles, and capability gaps, recommending process enhancements.
• Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and subject matter experts.
• Maintain logs for risks, issues, decisions, and action items.
• Track approved scope modifications.
• Organize project files using version control and records management practices.
• Provide Government clients with timely updates on status, schedules, risks, issues, and performance metrics.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required.
• A minimum of four (4) years of experience successfully managing a large-scale, complex program involving multiple projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a similar quality certification.
• At least four (4) years of experience supporting a large corporation or government agency, preferably in a large healthcare organization.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or Veterans Health Administration (VHA), especially in specialty care, clinical programs, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with federal healthcare environments and enterprise initiatives such as electronic health record modernization, the PACT Act, or Access initiatives.
• Experience in developing executive dashboards, status reports, and SharePoint/Microsoft Teams-based collaboration tools.
• Additional relevant certification(s) (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Change Management) are a plus.
