This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
β’ Responsible for the execution of Clinical Laboratory Customer Implementation Projects from the signing of contracts to project completion.
β’ Establish clear expectations with both internal and external clients prior to contract finalization.
β’ Propel project initiatives while gathering, organizing, and disseminating project information.
β’ Enhance team proficiency in project documentation, process enhancement, and data analysis.
β’ Propose, collaborate on, negotiate, present, and distribute reports and dashboards.
β’ Create and communicate comprehensive project plans to project teams, internal leadership, and customer stakeholders.
β’ Compile and sustain project timelines.
β’ Conduct regular meetings with internal and external project teams to oversee and manage progress.
β’ Provide updates to internal stakeholders regarding project status, trends, and forecasts.
β’ Ensure precise and timely weekly inputs of project data.
β’ Counsel customers on managing organizational change.
β’ Identify and communicate project risks.
β’ Collaborate with local sales and service teams to ensure sustainable product placement.
β’ Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
β’ Coordinate the availability and allocation of project resources.
β’ Oversee cross-functional processes and address customer-impacting issues across Waters departments.
β’ Support the business goals of sales partners.
β’ Evaluate customer processes through business reviews to pinpoint opportunities for process improvement and enhanced services.
β’ Manage customer expectations through formal business reviews and informal communications such as calls or visits.
β’ Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in life sciences, business, or engineering.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of clinical laboratory experience or equivalent.
β’ Experience in project management within a technical or laboratory customer setting.
β’ Proven knowledge of the US Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry.
β’ Familiarity with Standard Laboratory Practices and the Laboratory Regulatory environment (CAP, CLIA, COLA).
β’ Demonstrated leadership skills in cross-functional projects, teams, and programs.
β’ Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
β’ Consistent professionalism in interactions with customers and cross-functional teams.
β’ Proficiency in risk and escalation management as well as conflict resolution.
β’ Understanding of Project Management, Risk Management, and Change Management methodologies.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
β’ Experience with laboratory instrumentation, automation systems, and informatics is preferred.
β’ Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.
β’ An advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred.
β’ Knowledge of or certification in LEAN/Six Sigma is preferred.
