Project Manager, Senior Living – CapEx

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and contractors to request proposals, assess them, and provide recommendations for selection.

• Oversee the execution and coordinate with operators, designers, and consultants on significant front-of-house and back-of-house investment projects.

• Manage project timelines and ensure expenditure accuracy with CapEx consultants.

• Conduct weekly or bi-weekly internal update calls.

• Participate in weekly calls with Owners, Architects, and Designers for larger investment projects.

• Identify general contractors, prepare bid documents, solicit bids, evaluate proposals, and make selection recommendations.

• Visit job sites weekly when possible, based on project scope and status.

• Collaborate on investment strategies for new acquisitions and NNN transitions.

• Coordinate and communicate effectively with design and construction teams.

• Assist in executing capital projects alongside the Director of Senior Living (CapEx).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, real estate, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in real estate, construction, or development.

• Willingness to travel frequently for capital projects across the U.S. and Canada, averaging 2–3 overnight stays per week.

• Experience collaborating with an owner/developer, general contractor, or a similar entity—preferably within the healthcare sector.

• Familiarity with senior housing, hospitals, nursing facilities, and congregate care is advantageous.

• Strong analytical capabilities and independent decision-making skills.

• Ability to manage deadlines, handle multiple tasks, and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic, lean environment.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without the requirement for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
