This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Strategize, organize, and execute cybersecurity projects with a focus on identity and data security.
• Serve as the lead for customer engagements.
• Clearly communicate project roles and responsibilities to the team members involved.
• Plan, oversee, evaluate, and review project goals.
• Implement and uphold project policies and procedures.
• Direct cybersecurity initiatives that encompass assessments, design, implementation, migration, remediation, and operationalization.
• Coordinate efforts among consultants, architects, engineers, customer stakeholders, and partner vendors.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, resources, and client communications.
• Oversee RAID logs, project dependencies, change control, decision tracking, and executive status reporting.
• Facilitate client governance meetings, including kickoffs, status updates, risk assessments, steering updates, and acceptance/sign-off checkpoints.
• Ensure adherence to repeatable delivery standards, documentation protocols, evidence collection, and quality gates.
• Collaborate with technical leads on security controls, testing, cutover, validation, and post-implementation support.
• Handle multiple security engagements and share resources across pods or workstreams.
• Anticipate requirements, provide service quotes, schedule expenses, analyze variances, and initiate corrective measures.
• Formulate budgets and monitor budget expenditures.
• Appropriately staff projects and oversee team members.
• Offer performance management feedback for project-aligned personnel.
• Advocate for process enhancements and pursue continuous professional development.
• 3-5 years of previous experience in project management and planning.
• Exceptional organizational, presentation, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong capability to manage client expectations concerning scope, schedule, budget, and satisfaction.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Experience in managing cybersecurity, IAM, or data security projects within consulting, professional services, or enterprise IT settings.
• Understanding of security delivery lifecycles, including assessment, design, implementation, testing, remediation, cutover, and transition to operational phases.
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts such as CNAPP, CWPP, and DSPM.
• Knowledge of public cloud hypervisors including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Understanding of identity security concepts including IAM, IGA, PAM, MFA, SSO, federation, RBAC, SoD, service accounts, and secrets management.
• Awareness of data security concepts including data discovery, classification, labeling, DSPM, DLP, retention, insider risk, and governance.
• Capability to manage both technical and business stakeholders through security risk, compliance, and control-related decisions.
• Experience producing executive-level status reports, action plans, issue escalations, and customer-facing documentation.
• Preferred: PMP, CSM, ITIL, Security+, CISSP familiarity, or equivalent credentials in security/project delivery.
