Project Manager – Retail Fit-Outs, Renovations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Deliver consulting services for a retail telecommunications client account.

• Oversee projects from their initiation to completion.

• Handle commercial real estate projects encompassing planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.

• Collaborate with Architects and General Contractors.

• Establish project scope and manage RFPs and RFIs.

• Develop scope of work, resource requirements for project delivery, cost estimates and budgets, work plans, schedules and milestones, quality control measures, and risk identification.

• Determine project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or via the project qualification process.

• Conduct requests for proposals, complete bid assessments, and recommend resources to clients.

• Enforce project documentation governance in accordance with company and client standards.

• Maintain project data integrity and ensure accurate, timely, and coordinated documentation.

• Create action plans to achieve objectives, budget, and schedule.

• Monitor project progress and communicate status and variances.

• Identify potential project threats and devise risk mitigation and contingency strategies.

• Execute plans to minimize or eliminate project risks.

• Utilize principles, techniques, and procedures to tackle complex assignments and deliver innovative solutions.

• Mentor team members and share expertise.

• Demonstrate leadership by exemplifying CBRE RISE values.

• Foster consensus and persuade others to achieve agreement.

• Influence customer, operational, project, and service activities across related teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the necessity of visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred, accompanied by 5-8 years of relevant experience.

• Alternatively, a combination of education and experience will be taken into account.

• Preferred designations include LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM.

• Experience managing fit-out and renovation construction for retail client accounts is preferred.

• Capability to interpret architectural drawings and technical construction documents.

• Familiarity with lease agreements and vendor management is highly desirable.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Smartsheet.

• Experience with Tango or similar project management software is required.

• Knowledge of Corrigo or other facilities management software is desirable.

• Exceptional organizational skills paired with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
