Project Manager – Retail Fit-Outs, Renovations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Deliver consulting services to the retail telecom client account to support the achievement of strategic business goals.

• Oversee retail store fit-out and renovation initiatives from the preconstruction planning phase through to project closeout.

• Manage planning, design, construction, occupancy, and project closeout for commercial real estate ventures.

• Collaborate with Architects and General Contractors.

• Establish project scope and oversee the management of RFPs and RFIs.

• Draft scope of work, resource requirements for project delivery, cost estimates, budgets, work plan schedules and milestones, quality control measures, and risk identification.

• Determine project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process.

• Conduct requests for proposals, carry out bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.

• Enforce project documentation governance in line with company and client standards.

• Ensure the integrity of project data and maintain accurate, timely, and coordinated documentation.

• Develop action plans to achieve objectives, adhere to budget, and meet schedules.

• Monitor project progress and report on status and variances.

• Identify potential project risks and devise mitigation and contingency strategies.

• Execute plans aimed at minimizing or eliminating project risks.

• Utilize principles, techniques, and procedures to tackle complex assignments and deliver innovative solutions.

• Provide mentorship and share expertise with colleagues.

• Exemplify leadership by modeling CBRE RISE values.

• Facilitate consensus-building and persuade others to reach agreements.

• Influence customer, operational, project, and service activities within your team and related teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must currently be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, along with 5-8 years of relevant experience.

• A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.

• LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designations are preferred.

• Experience managing fit-out and renovation construction for retail client accounts is preferred.

• Proficiency in reading architectural drawings and technical construction documents is required.

• Familiarity with lease agreements and vendor management is highly desirable.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Smartsheet is required.

• Experience with Tango or similar project management software is essential.

• Knowledge of Corrigo or other facilities management software is desirable.
