Project Manager – Retail Fit-Outs, Renovations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Deliver consulting services to the telecom client within the retail sector.

• Oversee commercial real estate projects from their inception to completion.

• Manage the planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout phases for retail store fit-outs and renovations.

• Collaborate with architects and general contractors; define project scope and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).

• Prepare project scope, identify resource requirements, create cost estimates, develop budgets, establish schedules, ensure quality control, and identify risks.

• Define resources for project delivery and conduct proposal requests along with bid evaluations.

• Implement governance for project documentation and ensure data integrity along with accurate and timely coordination.

• Develop action plans to meet objectives, budgets, and schedules.

• Monitor project progress and provide status updates along with variance reports.

• Identify potential project threats and create risk mitigation and contingency strategies.

• Mentor colleagues and share expertise.

• Demonstrate leadership in alignment with CBRE RISE values.

• Foster consensus and persuade stakeholders to achieve agreement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, accompanied by 5–8 years of relevant experience.

• In the absence of a degree, a blend of education and experience will be taken into account.

• Preferred certifications include LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM.

• Experience managing fit-out and renovation construction for retail client accounts is highly preferred.

• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical construction documents is essential.

• Strong understanding of lease agreements and vendor management is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Smartsheet is required.

• Experience with Tango or similar project management software is necessary.

• Familiarity with Corrigo or other facilities management software is a plus.

• Exceptional organizational skills combined with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
