This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Deliver consulting services to retail client accounts to support the attainment of strategic business goals.
• Oversee retail fit-outs and relocation projects from the initial phase through to completion.
• Manage planning, design, construction, occupancy, and project closeout for commercial real estate initiatives.
• Collaborate directly with clients to establish the scope of work, identify resource needs, create cost estimates and budgets, develop schedules, ensure quality control, and recognize risks.
• Determine project delivery resources from pre-approved lists or via the project qualification process.
• Execute requests for proposals, perform bid evaluations, and advise clients on resource selection.
• Enforce project documentation governance in line with company and client standards.
• Maintain project data integrity and ensure accurate, timely, and coordinated documentation.
• Develop action plans to achieve objectives, adhere to budget, and meet schedules.
• Monitor project progress and communicate status updates and variances.
• Identify potential project threats and formulate risk mitigation and contingency strategies.
• Implement strategies to minimize or eliminate project risks.
• Utilize standard principles and techniques to tackle complex tasks and offer innovative solutions.
• Mentor colleagues and disseminate knowledge.
• Exemplify leadership and embody CBRE RISE values.
• Foster consensus and persuade others to reach agreements.
• Influence customer, operational, project, or service activities within both own and related teams.
• Candidates must currently be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, along with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• In the absence of a degree, a combination of education and experience will be taken into account.
• LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM certifications are preferred.
• Experience in retail commercial real estate construction project management is essential.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet is advantageous.
• A general understanding of leases, contracts, and construction practices is necessary.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills combined with an inquisitive mindset are essential.
