
Project Manager β Retail Bank Ground Up Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
β’ Deliver consulting services to a financial services client account focused on retail banking construction.
β’ Oversee new construction and renovation projects for branches in Florida from the ground up.
β’ Manage commercial real estate projects from inception to completion.
β’ Supervise planning, design, construction, occupancy, and project closeout phases.
β’ Collaborate directly with clients to define the scope of work, resource needs, cost estimates and budgets, timelines, quality assurance, and risk management.
β’ Perform regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
β’ Evaluate contractor payment requests, budget conditions, subcontracts, bonds or subcontractor default insurance, change orders, job cost reports, contingencies, construction schedules, disbursement timelines, and lien waivers.
β’ Assess contract blueprints and specifications for overall completeness and adherence to architectural and engineering standards.
β’ Analyze both direct and indirect cost budgets of developers and collaborate with the Cost Advisory team on estimates, quantity take-offs, and supporting documentation.
β’ Review and provide feedback on construction contracts, subcontracts, design agreements, building loan agreements, and qualification statements from contractors and architects.
β’ Review and comment on schedules for construction and disbursement, zoning approvals, surveys, permits, utility approvals, engineering reports, and compliance certifications related to codes and ADA standards.
β’ Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred along with 5-8 years of pertinent experience.
β’ A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
β’ Preferred qualifications include LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM certifications.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
β’ Experience with Kahua, MS Project, or similar project management tools is necessary.
β’ Familiarity with Smartsheet is an advantage.
β’ Experience in ground-up, retail, and/or financial services projects is highly desired.
β’ Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is preferred.
β’ General understanding of leases, contracts, and construction practices is important.
β’ Ability to interpret architectural drawings is essential.
β’ Strong organizational skills paired with an inquisitive mindset are required.
β’ Advanced mathematical skills are necessary.
β’ Competence in calculating complex figures, including percentages, fractions, and other financial calculations is essential.
β’ Willingness to travel approximately 20%-40% of the time weekly for project site visits.
