This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
β’ Deliver consulting services to a financial services client account, aiding in the achievement of strategic objectives for the construction of retail banks.
β’ Oversee ground-up construction and renovation projects for new branches in Florida, especially along the Atlantic Coast or within the Tampa/Orlando regions.
β’ Manage commercial real estate projects from inception to completion, encompassing planning, design, construction, occupancy, and final closeout.
β’ Engage directly with clients to develop the scope of work, identify resource needs, create cost estimates and budgets, establish schedules, ensure quality control, and recognize potential risks.
β’ Conduct regular site visits to assess construction progress and confirm that work aligns with approved drawings and specifications.
β’ Evaluate contractorsβ payment requisitions, budgets, subcontracts, bonds or subcontractor default insurance, change orders, job cost reports, contingencies, schedules, lien waivers, and other related documents.
β’ Inspect contract blueprints and specifications for completeness and adherence to architectural and engineering standards.
β’ Assess developer direct and indirect cost budgets and collaborate with the Cost Advisory team on estimates, quantity take-offs, and supporting documentation.
β’ Review and provide feedback on construction agreements, subcontracts, design agreements, building loan agreements, and qualifications statements from contractors and architects.
β’ Examine construction schedules and submitted documents, including zoning approvals, surveys, permits, utility approvals, engineering reports, and certifications for code and ADA compliance.
β’ Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
β’ Preferably hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, along with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
β’ In the absence of a degree, a combination of education and experience will be taken into account.
β’ Preferred certifications include LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designations.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
β’ Familiarity with Kahua, MS Project, or similar project management software is necessary.
β’ Experience with Smartsheet is advantageous.
β’ Strongly preferred are backgrounds in ground-up, retail, and/or financial services.
β’ Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is a plus.
β’ General understanding of leases, contracts, and construction practices is required.
β’ Ability to interpret architectural drawings effectively.
β’ Excellent organizational skills combined with a curious mindset.
β’ Advanced mathematical skills are necessary.
β’ Capable of performing complex calculations including percentages, fractions, and other financial computations.
