πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Serve as the lead real estate contact for assigned renewable energy initiatives throughout all phases of development.

β€’ Function as the primary liaison for both internal stakeholders and external real estate service providers.

β€’ Establish and nurture relationships with landowners, community stakeholders, consultants, legal advisors, and project teams.

β€’ Lead project meetings, set agendas, and relay updates to internal and executive stakeholders.

β€’ Coordinate and oversee external legal counsel and third-party consultants.

β€’ Mentor and offer guidance to Real Estate Analysts.

β€’ Draft, review, and negotiate leases, easements, purchase and sale agreements, landowner estoppels, SNDAs, rights-of-way, licenses, as well as governmental and third-party agreements.

β€’ Assist in the negotiation and execution of mineral rights and curative documents.

β€’ Manage vendor contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, Task Orders, Change Orders, and NDAs.

β€’ Oversee title and survey procedures, reviewing title commitments, Schedule B exceptions, title insurance policies, endorsements, and curative matters.

β€’ Coordinate and assess ALTA surveys.

β€’ Conduct real estate due diligence for project acquisitions and mergers and acquisitions transactions.

β€’ Evaluate project risks and prepare executive-level summaries detailing findings, liabilities, and strategies for mitigation.

β€’ Collaborate with permitting teams on regulatory submissions and project approvals.

β€’ Monitor real estate-related permit conditions and compliance obligations.

β€’ Review project layouts and solar facility designs to pinpoint real estate risks and propose solutions.

β€’ Create exhibits, mapping deliverables, and KMZ files.

β€’ Maintain project databases, trackers, summaries, and reporting tools.

β€’ Coordinate project financial and administrative processes, including purchase orders and payment approvals.

β€’ Assist with construction debt financing and tax equity transactions.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree, paralegal certification, or a comparable combination of education and relevant experience.

β€’ Experience in managing commercial real estate transactions, project development activities, or real estate due diligence.

β€’ Expertise in reviewing and coordinating title, survey, land acquisition, or property-related deliverables.

β€’ Ability to interpret legal agreements, identify risks, and suggest practical solutions.

β€’ Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

β€’ Capacity to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced project environment.

β€’ Experience in supporting renewable energy, infrastructure, utility, or large-scale development projects is preferred.

β€’ Familiarity with project acquisitions, financial closings, construction financing, or tax equity transactions is preferred.

β€’ Knowledge of title insurance, ALTA surveys, subdivision mapping requirements, and land use considerations is preferred.

β€’ Experience working with government agencies, permitting teams, or regulatory stakeholders is preferred.

β€’ Proficiency in GIS or mapping tools and project management systems is preferred.

β€’ Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, ArcGIS, Google Earth, Procore, Ironclad, BlueBeam, SAP Fiori, SAP Concur, or QuickBase is preferred.
