Project Manager, Real Estate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary real estate leader for designated renewable energy projects throughout the entire development lifecycle.

• Serve as the main liaison for both internal stakeholders and external real estate vendors.

• Establish and nurture relationships with landowners, community stakeholders, consultants, legal advisors, and project teams.

• Facilitate project meetings, create agendas, and provide updates to internal and executive stakeholders.

• Coordinate efforts with external counsel and third-party consultants.

• Mentor and support Real Estate Analysts.

• Draft, review, and negotiate leases, easements, purchase and sale agreements, landowner estoppels, SNDAs, rights-of-way, licenses, and governmental and third-party agreements.

• Assist in the negotiation and execution of mineral rights and curative documents.

• Oversee vendor agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, Task Orders, Change Orders, and NDAs.

• Manage title and survey processes, reviewing title commitments, exceptions, title insurance policies, endorsements, and curative matters.

• Coordinate and assess ALTA surveys.

• Conduct real estate due diligence for project acquisitions and M&A transactions.

• Assess project risks and prepare executive summaries outlining findings, liabilities, and mitigation strategies.

• Collaborate with permitting teams on regulatory filings and project approvals.

• Monitor real estate permit conditions and compliance requirements for projects.

• Review project layouts and solar facility designs to pinpoint real estate risks and potential solutions.

• Create exhibits, mapping deliverables, and KMZ files.

• Maintain project databases, trackers, summaries, and reporting tools.

• Coordinate purchase orders and payment approvals.

• Assist with construction debt financing and tax equity transactions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certification, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

• Proven experience in managing commercial real estate transactions, project development activities, or real estate due diligence.

• Experience in reviewing and coordinating title, survey, land acquisition, or property-related documentation.

• Ability to interpret legal agreements, identify risks, and propose practical solutions.

• Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced project environment.

• Experience in supporting renewable energy, infrastructure, utility, or large-scale development projects is preferred.

• Familiarity with project acquisitions, financial closings, construction financing, or tax equity transactions is preferred.

• Knowledge of title insurance, ALTA surveys, subdivision mapping requirements, and land use considerations is preferred.

• Experience working with government agencies, permitting teams, or regulatory stakeholders is preferred.

• Familiarity with GIS or mapping tools and project management systems is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ArcGIS, Google Earth, Procore, Ironclad, BlueBeam, SAP Fiori, SAP Concur, or QuickBase is preferred.
