Project Manager – Professional Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee the entire client engagement lifecycle, starting from initial planning and project kick-off through to full execution and successful go-live.

• Create strategic project plans and proactively assign resources to guarantee delivery within the defined scope, timeline, and budget.

• Manage a portfolio of multiple client onboardings and implementations across different stages, sizes, and complexities.

• Balance competing demands, coordinate shared delivery resources, and maintain quality and progress across all engagements.

• Act as the main point of contact for client teams, fostering robust relationships with both enterprise and mid-level clients.

• Ensure transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders and provide project updates and key metrics to senior leadership.

• Supervise complex AI and digital projects, including essential system integrations.

• Collaborate with Product and Technical teams to enhance engagements and address technical challenges.

• Independently demonstrate core product features and troubleshoot integration issues in product administration and backend layers.

• Proactively identify, evaluate, and manage project risks.

• Ensure timely delivery of all contracted scope while adhering to project timelines and objectives.

• Advocate for project management and implementation best practices to enhance delivery efficiency and client experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS or BA Degree from an accredited University.

• 7+ years of experience in a client-facing project management role within a B2B SaaS environment.

• Proven success in leading enterprise and mid-market client engagements — including AI and digital projects with significant system integration — while managing concurrent onboardings and implementations at various lifecycle stages without compromising delivery quality or client trust.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and present to senior internal and client stakeholders (C-suite, VPs, Directors).

• Experience in delivering B2B SaaS implementations with real system integrations (HRIS, ITSM, identity providers, ticketing, or similar).

• Comfortable working within a product's configuration and backend layers — the "plumbing." Capable of navigating admin settings, workflow logic, integration setup, and logs to diagnose issues prior to escalation.

• Understanding of APIs and the interaction between enterprise systems: REST endpoints, JSON payloads, webhooks, and authentication (SSO, SAML, OAuth). No coding is required — however, the ability to read a payload, track an authentication handshake, and articulate issues is essential.

• Ability to demonstrate high-level product features end-to-end to a client audience independently.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are crucial for this role, with a strong capacity to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

• Ability to negotiate and persuade without formal authority — capable of maintaining a scope line with clients, challenging unreasonable timelines, and gaining stakeholder support for technical recommendations they might initially resist.

• Prior experience with AI/ML products or technologies is a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with contemporary project management tools (e.g., Jira, Rocketlane).

• Product obsession — a tendency to delve deeply into the product to find answers independently rather than waiting for explanations.
