Project Manager – Professional Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead technology projects from inception to completion, utilizing DGR's delivery methodologies tailored to each engagement.

• Collaborate with the designated Technical Lead in a two-in-the-box framework, sharing accountability for project outcomes.

• Maintain clarity regarding priorities, decisions, dependencies, and subsequent steps.

• Oversee project documentation, artifacts, records, and reporting processes.

• Identify and eliminate roadblocks proactively.

• Highlight risks and dependencies early, offering recommendations for resolution.

• Align process, planning, communication, coordination, and governance with the engagement's size, complexity, and risk profile.

• Act as the primary contact for the client.

• Ensure proactive communication, transparent status updates, and realistic expectations.

• Manage project scope and communicate changes to clients while maintaining trust.

• Coordinate efforts among internal teams, partners, and client stakeholders.

• Keep project records and documentation updated throughout the engagement.

• Provide structure amidst ambiguity, guiding both the client and team towards a shared objective.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of project management experience in technology consulting or professional services.

• Proven experience managing IT deployments, integrations, and migrations in areas such as infrastructure, networking, security, or modern workplace environments.

• Skilled in navigating challenging client discussions, including scope alterations, conflicting expectations, project risks, or delivery obstacles.

• Proactive communication style, particularly when a project is at risk or expectations must be adjusted.

• Strong documentation practices and the ability to maintain a clear and precise project record throughout the engagement.

• Experience across various technology service areas is advantageous.

• Familiarity with a delivery model where the Project Manager and Technical Lead jointly share ownership of outcomes is beneficial.

• Exposure to Microsoft technologies such as Modern Workplace, Identity, Infrastructure, or Security is a plus.

• Experience managing multiple concurrent engagements across diverse client types in a consulting setting is preferred.
