Project Manager – Medical Communications

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee all facets of medical communications projects from start to finish, which includes content creation, advisory boards, and training for speakers.

β€’ Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and collaborate with various departments within the organization.

β€’ Fulfill client and management expectations while nurturing strong relationships with clients and faculty members.

β€’ Ensure programs stay on track and adhere to established parameters.

β€’ Create, manage, monitor, and balance project budgets effectively.

β€’ Supervise external vendors and the allocation of resources.

β€’ Keep programs timely and aligned with primary goals.

β€’ Provide continual updates to internal team members and client representatives.

β€’ Develop and sustain knowledge of client organizations, their products, disease states, and the field of medical education.

β€’ Participate in new business development initiatives within the account team.

β€’ Organize and lead start-up, interim, and final team meetings.

β€’ Set and uphold project timelines and event schedules.

β€’ Manage faculty recruitment, audience generation, content creation, logistics, registration and participant communications, materials production, supplier performance, and central file management.

β€’ Assist in onboarding new members of the account team.

β€’ Uphold company policies and comply with Lockwood Group policies and standard operating procedures.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

β€’ Three to five years of pertinent project management experience in a healthcare communications setting is essential.

β€’ Capability to understand and retain scientific information.

β€’ Strong technical skills are required.

β€’ Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.

β€’ Outstanding communication abilities.

β€’ Proven experience in successfully leading multidisciplinary teams.

β€’ Strong financial management capabilities.

β€’ Highly organized and skilled at multitasking and prioritizing tasks.

β€’ Ability and eagerness to inspire others.
