Project Manager – Manufacturing Capital Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, overseeing scope development, proposal support, issue resolution, and fostering long-term client relationships.

• Manage the planning and implementation of multi-discipline capital projects while adhering to budget, schedule, and contractual obligations.

• Lead and supervise project teams, subcontractors, and vendors.

• Anticipate staffing requirements and provide constructive performance feedback.

• Oversee project scope, documentation, and approved modifications.

• Facilitate the procurement of equipment, materials, and installation services.

• Assess bids and manage contract award processes.

• Collaborate with construction management on installation, technical evaluations, and start-up operations.

• Coordinate with OEMs and contractors as necessary.

• Develop and advocate for adherence to project-specific and relevant safety protocols.

• Identify efficiencies in execution.

• Assist in business development initiatives through exemplary project delivery.

• Travel as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical expertise.

• Experience in the Food & Beverage manufacturing sector.

• Over 5 years of project management experience.

• Experience with capital projects and leadership of multi-discipline teams.

• Preferred: 10+ years of experience in the food or beverage industry.

• Preferred: 7+ years of experience in Project Management.

• Preferred: Project Management Professional Certification or the capability to obtain it.

• Preferred: Professional Engineer license.

• Preferred: Proven success in a consulting environment.

• Willingness to travel approximately 25–35% of the time.
