Project Manager – Industrial, Ethanol

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for the complete delivery of assigned customer and internal projects, focusing on scope, schedule, and budget.

• Develop and uphold project execution plans, which encompass task lists, timelines, and resource allocation.

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers at Whitefox throughout the project execution phase.

• Recognize and address project risks with well-defined mitigation and contingency strategies.

• Facilitate coordination among cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment with project goals.

• Oversee budgets, monitor expenditures, and report on any variances.

• Manage invoicing, payments, equipment receipts, and all project-related documentation.

• Keep precise project records using SAP Business ByDesign.

• Provide regular status updates to both internal stakeholders and customers.

• Assist with customer site operations and guarantee safe and effective execution on-site.

• Collaborate with commercial, engineering, customer support, and operations teams to implement membrane technology projects for ethanol producers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable Engineering field.

• Over 5 years of experience in an industrial setting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management software, and MRP systems.

• Experience with SAP Business ByDesign is advantageous.

• Proven capability in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects, budgets, and cost controls while meeting strict deadlines.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong collaboration, with clear ownership and accountability for outcomes.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is beneficial.

• Willingness to support customer site activities with approximately 40% travel.

• Work hours will fluctuate based on project requirements.
