Project Manager – Governance – EV Charging Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Define, enhance, and sustain the complete lifecycle for updating and managing physical design standards.

• Take ownership of studio workflow frameworks, folder/drive structures, and the organization of digital assets.

• Organize, maintain, and distribute design standards, playbooks, and templates via the CMS.

• Facilitate internal training sessions and workshops focused on evolving standards.

• Monitor workflow efficiency, identify bottlenecks, optimize process pipelines, and escalate performance risks as necessary.

• Create design aesthetic quality-control checklists, review guidelines, and workflows for tracking exceptions.

• Empower project managers to oversee adherence to Design Studio Standards.

• Manage software seat allocations, compliance, and licensing coordination for Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Collaborate with the Design Studio, Production Studio, BIM Manager, Documentation Manager, Studio Directors, project managers, design teams, and external partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Design Operations, Architectural/Engineering Project Management, Program Management, or Design Governance.

• Demonstrated experience managing intricate workflows and cross-functional alignment in design-intensive or corporate rollout environments.

• Practical experience in establishing document control protocols, digital asset management, file-naming conventions, and folder architecture.

• Outstanding communication skills with a track record of building consensus among diverse teams.

• Experience in creating operational checklists, QA/QC frameworks, and governance playbooks.

• Proficient with Google Workspace, Asana, Miro, Bluebeam, and Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360.

• Preferred qualifications include PMP/CAPM, Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, Procore / Document Control credentials, or ITIL Foundation.

• Preferred: Experience in establishing new operational processes within fast-paced, high-growth, or R&D environments.

• Preferred: Familiarity with CMS managers, digital asset curators, or database administrators.

• Preferred: Background in professional design services, architectural production, or real estate development.
