Project Manager – Enterprise Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Plan and implement activities associated with project delivery and financial/budgeting functions.

• Oversee one or more projects ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.

• Develop and sustain status reports.

• Actively manage project challenges, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.

• Collaborate with third-party partners and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Direct project planning, encompassing scope, deliverables, delivery schedules, work breakdown structures, and milestones.

• Create, monitor, track, and modify project plans as necessary.

• Implement change management processes and activities within the Technology division.

• Manage projects across the Enterprise Data portfolio, which includes infrastructure and cybersecurity/security initiatives.

• Liaise with cybersecurity and technology stakeholders regarding requirements, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.

• Prepare project and portfolio updates and lead monthly portfolio reviews with leadership.

• Communicate project status, milestones, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.

• Execute fiscal management and reporting for operational, product/business, technology, and vendor stakeholders.

• Monitor gross labor, capital expenditure, non-labor forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Maintain project and portfolio reporting using Excel, Google Cloud dashboards, PowerPoint, and other reporting tools.

• Report to the Sr. Manager, Delivery Management.

• The position does not have any direct reports.

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Solid understanding of Tableau.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Capability to draw precise conclusions from financial documentation.

• Demonstrated project management expertise.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, dependencies, and deadlines.

• Proficient experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including the ability to create project reports and presentations for leadership.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud dashboards or similar cloud-based reporting and visualization tools.

• Experience in planning and executing projects along with risk mitigation strategies.

• Background in project management execution within a modern software environment; experience managing technical projects.

• Experience supporting infrastructure, cybersecurity, security, enterprise data, or other technology-focused projects.

• History of preparing and presenting project or portfolio updates to leadership.

• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or other project delivery methodologies.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study.

• Preferred: Experience managing projects within an Enterprise Data or similar technology portfolio.

• Preferred: Experience collaborating with cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, and technology teams on cross-functional initiatives.

• Preferred: Proficiency in developing dashboards, executive-level reporting, and presentations for regular leadership reviews.

• Preferred: Capability to use Smart sheets.
