Project Manager – Contract Logistics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Executing logistics projects within GEODIS Contract Logistics Benelux

• Successfully implementing new clients

• Developing new logistics concepts

• Implementing improvements for existing clients

• Leading a multidisciplinary project team

• Implementing efficient, safe, and sustainable solutions within budget and schedule

• Coordinating logistics processes related to inbound, storage, outbound, customs handling, transport, and value-added services

• Ensuring optimal physical layout of the warehouse

• Connecting transport and customs processes

• Setting up and integrating IT systems such as WMS, TMS, DMS, BI, and additional systems

• Acting as the central point of contact for the client

• Keeping the client, project team, suppliers, and management informed about progress and challenges

• Monitoring accurate and complete project administration according to project management methodology

• Collaborating with Project Managers and Logistics Engineers

• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues within the global GEODIS network

⛳️ Requirements

• HBO work and thinking level

• At least 10 years of work experience, with 5 years in a similar role

• Experience in structured project management

• Detailed knowledge of logistics processes: warehousing, customs, transport, and value-added services

• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English

• Proactive team player with commercial skills

• Takes responsibility for their project
